Black Diamond to promote Tuolumne County
North Californian destination Tuolumne County has appointed Black Diamond as its UK agency for 2018.
Black Diamond will use its position as the destination’s first international agency to create a PR and ‘travel trade’ approach, emphasising that the county encompasses 60% of Yosemite National Park, one of the most popular national parks in America.
The agency will also produce campaigns to reinforce the county’s proximity to the San Francisco Bay Area, its year-round affordable lodging the area’s state parks and historic Gold Rush towns, as well as other points of interest beyond Yosemite National Park.
Trade director Gerry Boyle and head of travel PR Sarah Barnett will oversee the account. The agency already provides trade and PR coverage for Visit California and 14 other Californian destinations.
